Founder of Vocal Art Studios Liz Tripodi, has been working professionally in the music industry for over 25 years. She has had extensive experience and training in all aspects of Performing Arts including Music, Recording, Songwriting, Dance and Television and has studied under some of the best Teachers in Australia as well as Music and Vocal Training in America and Europe.
As one of Australia's Premier Vocal Coaches, Liz is known for getting outstanding results with Student's of all ages, especially those in the Music Competitions Field, Audition Preparation, Bands, Soloists and developing Song Repertoires and individual goal plans. She is known for her tough and honest teaching skills in all areas of Contemporary Music and Performance Training, and is always ahead of industry trends and changes.
Within her work as a Vocalist and Entertainer in the Industry, during Australian and Overseas Tours, Liz has performed to sell out crowds and over 100,000 people worldwide. She has also appeared on various Television programs in a combination of Hosting, Performing and Guest Appearances on various shows.
Liz is an experienced Adjudicator and Judge adjudicating Eisteddfods and Talent Competition Vocal & Music sections and has previously adjudicated across Victoria, S.A, NSW & the N.T. She has also been involved with Television networks and Production companies in Australia, working behind the scenes with Vocal Talent.
She has also done examining for various music organisations around the world.
As the Founder of Vocal Art Studios, Liz has won the "Excellence in Business Innovation" Award from the City of Moonee Valley in 2004, Finalist in the Leader Business Awards, Winner of the Moonee Valley Foundation Award in 2005 and the Spirit of Moonee Valley Award in 2009 and 2018. In 2010 she was proud to receive the Business of the Month award from 3AW Radio.
In 2008, Liz was honoured by the Victorian Government with an Arts Life Achievement Award in Supporting and Promoting Music & Culture, at an awards ceremony at Government House and in 2017 won the "Women's Small Business Champion" from the Northern Multicultural Business Awards.
Liz holds the title of "Licentiate" one of the highest possible titles in Music Performance from Rockschool (London) and was also part of the Committee for the Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing (Victorian Chapter) in 2016.
She has also worked with various charity and community organisations over the last 20 years providing entertainment, helping to raise funds, donated and supported a wide variety of events especially involving Music, Education, Arts, the Italian community and Youth.
Liz has created (and continues to create) new opportunities and programs that no-one else has offered across the country to VAS students. This includes Overseas Performance Tours, Professional Events, Releasing music worldwide via VAS Entertainment and a host of other activities to promote Arts, Culture and supporting new talent.
She is extremely proud of the entire VAS Teaching Team (whom the majority have been with her for 10 years plus) and of the high standard of talent that the school has produced and looks forward to welcoming you to the studio and the Vocal Art Family during it's 18th year of operation in 2020.
