An industry legend in Victoria, with over 35 years professional experience; we are thrilled to have Leon as part of the VAS Team.

 

Leon has toured and performed in every capital city around Australia with well known recording artists and national touring bands as keyboardist/vocalist/musical director and band co-ordinator.

He has performed with some of Melbourne's best female vocalists and musicians including Sarah C and ex members from Vanessa Amorosi and Tina Arena's band, along with finalists from Australian Idol,T he Voice and performances at major venues with our own teachers Rocky Loprevite and Sam Olivieri.

Leon has co-written with Sarah C with the hit single "My Safety" taken from her EP "Fearless" and recorded/produced by Paul Cecchinelli (Vanessa Amorosi Keyboardist)

He is currently writing and recording original album with Adam Surace (Jason Singh/Taxiride) and Michael Zammit (Airwaves Recording Studio)

Amongst all this, he has a passion for teaching piano to students and the language of music for more than 20 years and still enjoying the sharing of his musical skills and knowledge with many years of practical experience in Melbourne independent music schools and private students.

​

He has achieved excellent exam results for his students and they are well prepared with practical and theory knowledge at the same time. Leon is always patient and nurturing with his teaching approach and adapting to each individual's learning characteristics and potential to achieve the best results.

Complimenting all this, he has experience in preparing and organising recitals, recording original compositions and sound production as well.
